![]() The system of tagging allows filtering by function and when you actually create custom keystrokes, the potential clashes with existing keystrokes are flagged and easy solutions are presented. He demonstrates the power of the search facility, which allows you to search by keystroke or function, with filtering available for modifier keys. In this video, brought to you with the support of Avid, Julian takes a first look at this new window from the point of view of how it can help you, whether you are going to create custom keystrokes or not. In this pair of videos, Julian looks at the new Keyboard Shortcuts window and finds a great deal which is of interest to people who want to customise their workstation and people who just want to extend their knowledge of the familiar default set of keyboard shortcuts. However there is one feature which surprised many and deserves close examination as it affects one of the things we have taken for granted for so long - Pro Tools keyboard shortcuts can now be customised! Many of these were a redistribution of features between the top tier Ultimate/Flex product and the middle tier Pro Tools Studio, surround sound and advanced automation being particularly significant additions to the middle tier. ![]() However in spite of this there were new features in the Pro Tools software itself. Like most users, I just want convenience and speed in the basic editing/mixing functionalities, that are performed hundreds of times per day, not new shiny features, that don’t work properly and/or make a very little difference to improving the music/audio making experience. The 2022.4 release of Pro Tools was dominated by the changes to the product lineup, the way licensing works for new customers and the introduction of two new virtual instruments. I would gladly upgrade to the next Cubase version, if it will include editing/mixing workflow improvements (like a smart tool, channel colors, improved sends, dual-mono plugin mode, etc.) and a proper HiDPI implementation, not new “groundbreaking” (and DAW-breaking) features. Yes, there is a clip gain functionality (via Draw tool) in Cubase, but it is hard to use, because it is underdeveloped. Yea - this thing exactly… when I switched from Pro Tools to Cubase, I was quite disappointed/frustrated about, how clumsy the audio editing in Cubase is. Hence, Pro Tool Shortcuts can quickly speed up your workflow and will lessen the time spent on the mouse. It can be a lot more frustrating to constantly dig through menus. Because we pay you fully real money and not half-fake. The Pro Tools shortcuts list will speed up your workflow and navigation and create a cohesive, fluid work environment to focus on creativity. So please listen more, do not overcomplicate simple things, simple solutions are usually the best.Īnd lastly, If you make new version please made it fully realy working not half-working.
